The ideal candidate will possess a blend of marketing expertise, fundraising experience, and strong organizational skills to develop effective outreach plans, maintain donor relationships, and oversee strategic marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Outreach and Marketing Strategy Development:
- Design and implement a comprehensive outreach and marketing strategy aimed at increasing awareness of organization’s mission and services.
- Develop digital and traditional marketing plans, including social media campaigns, email newsletters, and website content, to engage target audiences.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive branding, messaging, and mission alignment across all materials and communications.
- Oversee all marketing efforts, tracking and reporting on campaign performance, engagement metrics, and conversion rates to assess effectiveness.
- Work with graphic designers, writers, and other creative professionals to create compelling promotional materials, newsletters, and reports.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels, ensuring that all content reflects the values and mission of ConnectionsPlus.
- Develop a PR plan and oversee press release creation, distribution, and follow-up, focusing on building relationships with relevant media contacts.
- Identify media opportunities and coordinate interviews, events, and press briefings to boost the organization's profile.
- Track and analyze media mentions, adjusting strategy based on coverage and response to maximize visibility.
- Regularly analyze donor data to identify trends, patterns, and growth opportunities, refining the donor engagement approach accordingly.
- Work closely with the development team to analyze major gift prospects and strengthen relationships with high-potential donors.
- Manage and track progress towards fundraising goals, ensuring that data from all gift efforts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Develop strategies for donor retention, recognition, and growth, focusing on fostering long-term relationships with supporters.
- Work with the Executive Director to implement targeted fundraising campaigns, engaging potential donors and stakeholders.
- Monitor fundraising performance, regularly reporting on metrics to ensure that objectives align with financial goals.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in outreach, development, or marketing roles, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing successful marketing and outreach plans.
- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects.
- Familiarity with donor database management, analytics tools, and fundraising software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; skilled in drafting press releases and engaging in public relations activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage relationships with donors, partners, and media.
- Experience with donor database systems (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud) and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of social media marketing and content creation platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools for tracking and interpreting outreach and development metrics.
